The William F. Ryan Community Health Network is a group of not-for-profit, federally qualified health centers that deliver high quality, affordable and comprehensive medical care to diverse and underserved communities. We are currently seeking a Behavioral Health Integration Social Worker for our Ryan NENA Community Health Center located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.   Position Overview: The Behavioral Health Integration Program aims to promote collaboration between primary care providers and behavioral health care in order to provide early identification and treatment of mental health concerns to a diverse population of patients in community-based health care settings. Social workers will work at the Primary Care setting with medical staff to implement universal screening tools for depression and substance abuse, provide consultation for medical staff, and provide assessment, triage, and referral of patients in need of mental health services.   Social workers will provide psychosocial services including screening, outreach, risk/psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, determination and rapid referral to follow-up, short-term counseling, and case management to a diverse patient population. The social worker works closely with primary care providers for consultation to intra-agency personnel in an integrated health care setting. He/she functions as a team member with interdisciplinary staff and works with the community agencies to assure coordinated care for his/her patients. The Behavioral Health Integration Social Worker will work with medical staff to maximize the efficacy of screening, referral, and follow-up communication between Primary Care and Mental Health providers. We are currently seeking a Patient Services Representative for our school based health centers at the following Manhattan locations:   - PS 180, 370 W. 120th - Middle School 54, 103 W. 107th - West Side High School, 140 W. 102nd - PS 11, 320 W. 21st The position will rotate on a weekly basis from school to school. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 8AM-4PM.

The Senior Director of Revenue Management reports to the CFO and is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of current and future strategies to improve revenue results by taking a global view of clinical and financial processes, functions and interdependencies. This position will work closely with the Billing, Finance and Accounting Departments on revenue cycle performance to meet the strategic goals of Ryan Health. Candidates must be experts in planning, implementing and managing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process and strategies.   The Senior Director will be responsible for insurance eligibility processes, charge processing, claims submission, and processing, payment posting, collections and accounts receivable, denial management, reporting results and analysis, concurrent and retrospective auditing, proper coding, credentialing, insurance contract review and oversight, customer services relative to revenue cycle, training and development related to revenue cycle, analytics of key performance indicators, and all other revenue cycle management activities. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Ryan Health.

The William F. We are currently seeking a Healthy Steps Specialist for our Ryan Women and Children’s Community Health Center on the Upper West Side. The ideal candidate would be one of the following: Child Psychologist, Early Childhood Developmental Behavioral Specialist, or MSW, preferably licensed and registered in the State of New York.   Position Overview: Working along with and in support of pediatricians, the Healthy Steps Specialist provides support for families with children age 0-5 years. The Healthy Steps Specialist provides caregiver support to facilitate the development of attachment, self-regulation skills, and family resiliency. In addition, the Healthy Steps Specialist will provide child development guidance to high-risk parents and other primary care givers at well child visits with the goal of facilitating children’s healthy growth and development.   The Healthy Steps Specialist works primarily in pediatric or family practices and collaborates to deliver a new model of care integrating the Healthy Steps Core Components for families, tailored to identified needs and risk factors. The work would be carried out mostly within an office setting, through accompanying families to key medical and specialty visits, interim office visits, and possibly home visits (at the discretion of your employer). A background in child development, social work, mental health counseling, psychology, early childhood education or early intervention is an important requirement for this position. This position will be located at the offices of one of our community health centers on the Upper West Side.     Position Overview: Under the direction of the Director, Informatics and Innovation, the Informatics Systems Developer will design, develop and maintain Business Intelligence(BI) capabilities for the Ryan Network’s Clinical, Operational and Quality Improvement needs. Leveraging tools like Azure, Power BI, SharePoint and Cognos, the Informatics Systems Developer will provide data analytics solutions to facilitate end-user access and integrated information exchange. The Informatics Systems Developer will support risk-bearing activities, providing real-time clinical and operational data analytics feeds to assist management and staff in establishing benchmarks and understanding performance against quality and efficiency targets. Collaborate in the development of integrated information systems with other healthcare partners and external data systems to interpret data and apply it to the most important issues for the organization and health care leadership. William F. Ryan Community Health Network is looking to expand access to Mental Health Services, Substance Abuse Services and Social Determinants of Health, focusing on the treatment, prevention, and awareness of opioid abuse for patients with a high rate of comorbid mental health substance use disorders requiring a comprehensive, integrated treatment approach, with concurrent diagnosis and treatment, for support of health and improvement of quality of life.   Support the WFR strategy for fighting the Opioid Crisis by enhancing the above-mentioned services through the engagement of available personnel, i.e. Case Managers, BHI Social Workers, leverage health information technology personnel (IT). Provide training to support the expansion of mental health services and substance abuse services focusing on the treatment, prevention, and awareness of opioid abuse, and their integration into primary care.
